Christopher G. Hussion, DVM
Practice Owner & Medical Director
Dr. Christopher G. Hussion graduated from high school in Winchester, VA and moved to Missouri where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Missouri Southern State College. His Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree was completed at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine at Columbia in 1991.
Prior to joining Old Mill he practiced in Falls Church, VA and in Miami, OK. He resides in Charles Town, WV with his wife Kerrieann; their three children, Daniel, Katherine, and Sarah; 2 cats and a dog. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and reading political books.
Judith A. Bardsley, DVM
Dr. Judy Bardsley grew up on the east coast in a military family. She graduated from high school in Northern VA. Dr. Bardsley obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Delaware. After a year of wildlife rehabilitation (avian), Dr. Bardsley entered Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1997.
Dr. Bardsley lives in Round Hill, VA, with her husband, David Redmond, and their two sons, Declan and Kieran, three cats, a golden retriever and a horse. She has a special interest in family practice, internal medicine, and exploring behavioral issues. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, reading or having adventures with her family.
Jessica E. Plant, DVM
Dr. Jessica Plant is originally from Syracuse, NY where she received her Bachelor's degree at Cornell University in 1992. After pursuing graduate work in dolphin and primate behavior at UNC Wilmington and The University of Michigan, she returned to her New York roots to attend Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2004.
Dr. Plant currently resides in Herndon, VA with her husband Kevin and their three cats Jezebel, Wally and Daisy. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her cats and friends. Dr. Plant has a special interest in oncology, feline medicine and internal medicine.
Karen Iovino
Dr. Karen Iovino is originally from Smithtown, NY. She attended undergraduate school at Wilson College in Chambersburg PA, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical and Life Sciences in 1989. She then attended Veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts graduating in 1993. After graduation, she moved to Northern Virginia to work as a small animal and equine veterinarian.
Dr. Iovino lives on a small farm in Bluemont, VA with her husband, Dave, 3 dogs, 2 cats and 3 horses. At any time, there may be a foster rescue animal in the mix. In her spare time she enjoys competing her horses in the Adult hunter division, hiking, gardening and working outside on her farm.
She has special interest in behavior, internal medicine and disaster medicine. For the past several years Dr. Iovino has volunteered at spay/neuter clinics in the Bahamas. She is also Team Commander of the National Veterinary Response Team-2 which is a Federal response team in the Department of Health and Human Services. She and her team have responded to disasters such as Ground Zero and Hurricane Katrina.
Anna L. Hodges
Dr. Anna L. Hodges grew up in Kensington, MD. She traveled to Michigan to
obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Michigan –
Ann Arbor. Coming back closer to home to attend the Virginia-Maryland Regional
College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA and graduated in 2009.
Dr. Hodges currently resides in Centreville, VA with her Border Collie mix,
Logan. Her medical interests include
preventive care, internal medicine, nutrition and behavior. Outside of work Dr.
Hodges enjoys reading, swimming, and training her dog.
